Description
Meringue
Meringue is an indica-dominant hybrid strain from Dutch Passion, created by crossing two American genetic icons: Wedding Cake and Animal Cookies. This combination unites the best of both worlds – the sweet, creamy-fruity aromas of Wedding Cake and the spicy-resinous characteristics of Animal Cookies. The result is a strain that impresses both in flavor and effect. The plants grow compact and strong, reaching a height of up to 1.5 meters. They develop exceptionally dense, rock-hard buds, distinguished by a striking resin layer and dark hues. The growth pattern is slightly irregular, with elongated leaves and some spacing from the main stem – a feature that requires targeted leaf plucking for optimal light distribution. The flowering time is about eight weeks, with around 12 to 14 weeks from sowing to harvest. Under ideal conditions, Meringue yields 400 to 500 grams per m² and shows particular resilience in temperate to continental climates. Its intense aroma unfolds already during flowering and recalls ripe oranges, mango, and honey, underlined by earthy and slightly sour nuances. This blend creates a complex, almost tropical bouquet that condenses into a balanced and sweet-spicy flavor profile in the dried flower.
